What's up 2011;- April - A right Royal Knees up, alongside the royal wedding our Queen Isabella and her maid have been on tour at events around Cornwall and Devon. Summer - We are developing a unicycle stunt team for events. Events - 2011 Bookings open to the public-
What's up 2010;- November - Little Miss Christmas and Elf stilt walk about entertain audiences in Plymouth, Tavistock, Kingsbridge and Calstock. March - We made a fantastic princess stilt costume and found a princess to wear it Izzie. She has just started working for the business and adds a certain youthful sparkle to our performances. April - We are pulling in lots of bookings for our rising star street performer One Wheel Sam and his busking family shows. June - Circus Arts Performance with 17 children from Calstock Primary School / Callington Secondary School @ calstock Festival. (Our tutors employed through Cirque du Ciel) What's up 2009;- Jan - We have a new circus tutor. Steve Oops gets his Equity card and we take him on. He is great with kids, circus, music and dressed as a snowman. Feb - We made two huge Elvis stilt walking costumes for the Callington Circus Club.12 children performed successfully in the school production of "Our House". March - Emerge Circus Club gets £5,000 for working with disadvantaged youngsters in Liskeard gets £5,000 funding from Grass Roots, to develop skills and put on performances. April - 150 unicyclists came to Okehampton in Devon for the British Unicycle Convention. We finally got this national event down to the south west and it was truly awe inspiring. April - We went flowery at Trago. We made new funky stilt walking costumes and enjoyed entertaining people at the opening of Trago's New Garden Centre.
May - Nominated for Enterprise in Schools Award for over 6 years of work teaching and supporting circus at Callington community College. Gee wizz it's great to be appreciated and it includes a free lunch! What's up 2008;- Feb - We made a giraffe Stilt Walking costume as well as a toy soldier and elephant stilt walking costumes for the Callington Circus Club.6 children performed successfully in the school production of "Mary Poppins". May - New Pirate Stilt Walking Costumes. Our act made it's debut at Lands' End, Cornwall and at The Great Western Canal, Devon. June - September - We went to Egypt for 3 months. We were offered work as performers at Hurghada Marina on the Red Sea in Egypt and went with our 2 children. It was brilliant to live and perform in another country but the stomache bugs were bad! October - Huge Bug goes to Woking, my sci-fi fly stilt walking persona flew to Woking to help promote The Light Box insect exhibition. Nov - Dec - Rupert the Reindeer / Elf and the comic fairies toured Christmas festival events/ turing on the lights. Stilt Act. Dec - One Wheel Sam debut performance for us to great aclaim. He performs crazy unicycle tricks with comedy for all the family. What's up 2007;- March - Calstock Unicycle Club received £2,000 from Our Money Your Dream to promote unicycling and put on exciting events. April - We make 8ft reindeer - This is a huge and beautiful stilt walking costume costume that all the cildren love to stroke. Watch out this Christmas.
